The initiative has to be self sustained, the cloth fragments are being procured from various textile factories in Ludhiana but the workers who are making these bags need to be paid wages to support their families so we also accept donations and all revenue generated by selling these bags is reinvested into making more. We also need to grow our initiative so more and more businesses convert to using cloth bags instead of single use plastic, thus we are also distributing some of the bags to local vendors.
